About Us
The Beginning. Inclusive Fitness Apparel and Equipment was established in late 2021 after nearly a year of planning and testing. Our vision is to provide affordable, accessible, and inclusive apparel and fitness equipment. COVID-19 persuaded the way we shop and even go about our daily lives. We noticed a visible void in rural and Indigenous communities for accessing quality products. Therefore, our mandate from the beginning was and will always be to provide free Canada-wide shipping without discrimination. All Canadians can avail of our products regardless of their physical location.
Past Experiences. Dana and Garreth Kippenhuck are the founders of the company. Dana and Garreth both have extensive backgrounds in clothing retail. However, their negative experiences with corporate policies and customer dissatisfaction grounded their ideology in a good shopping experience. Thus, we provide free returns within reason to all customers while maintaining customer satisfaction as our top priority.
Influences. Our Indigenous background originating from rural Labrador has significantly influenced the kind of apparel and equipment we provide. Comfort and durability are always a priority. Also, our fitness equipment must be accommodating to help improve the health and fitness of remote populations. Garreth is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and has and continues to witness exercise as medicine with his clients. We hope to give back to the community as much as possible through partnerships, sponsorships, and donations.
Vision Statement. Our goal is to be Inclusive to everyone, regardless of identity. We are The Inclusive Brand, Inclusive Fitness.
